I am honored to share the stage with some of York County's finest at the Dean Marsh Open Air Stage at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church. Please gather your family and friends and enjoy an early evening with Ansel Couch, Marcy Little, me and my friends Jessie Lynn and Laurie Neal. The variety of styles will make for a pleasant evening for all ages under the stars. This is a fundraiser for Common Ground so they can continue their important community work. There will be food and beverages for purchase or bring your own. Please see the website https://allisoncreekchurch.com/music for ticket info and help us support these wonderful folks. In case of rain, we'll move inside to the Family Life Center.

About the Musicians

Ansel Couch is a passionate and dedicated musician and a staple in the local music scene for years. Whether he’s performing live, recording in the studio, songwriting or just learning new songs, it’s obvious that he loves music. Ansel grew up in what he believes to be the best music generation ever! Even though he plays music that appeals to all age groups, he loves the music from the 60's and 70's. He is a consummate musician, with a velvet voice and a loveable persona. Ansel has been a popular fixture in the York County area for decades.

Marcy Little is a home-grown Carolina girl with a Rock n’ Roll flare. She delivers all genres from Classic Rock to Sultry Oldies and Hits from today with her soulful style. Marcy has been described as “a little powder keg of a woman” whose “voice has the pure tone and power of Christina Aguilera, but with a rock and roll edge.” Marcy will make you want to dance and sing along.

PJ Brunson is an award-winning singer-songwriter and musician who has performed around the area ever since her Winthrop days. Her versatile brand of acoustic music spans multiple genres and appeals to audiences of all ages. She performs her original songs and beloved cover tunes with a silky-smooth alto voice and unique finger-picking style. PJ will be joined on several songs by her Ananda Duo partner, Laurie Neal on vocals and violin, and York native Jessie Lynn on vocals.

Laurie Neal is a well-known local classical musician and one-half of the piano and violin duo Ananda with PJ. She is a popular wedding and church musician. She also performed with her husband Dennis Neal in their 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock and roll band, The NowThings. Laurie is a talented multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer.

Jessie Lynn is a singer/songwriter from York. She has performed in the Carolinas for years, starting on the Possum Holler stage as a teenager. After graduating from Furman University with a degree in music, she lived in Shanghai, China singing jazz and blues at The Cotton Club. She was the lead singer for Remedy Hollow, performing hits from the 60’s to today, and their own original songs. You can hear Jessie’s harmonies on several songs on PJ’s last album, “Home to Me”. She also sang lead on multiple tracks for the alternative band, Bad Alchemy, whose CD sold from the states to Japan.
