About the Songwriters:

Jeff Moder is a Charlotte based singer-songwriter. His music is heavily inspired by Bob Dylan and Tom Petty and you can certainly hear these influences in his songs. Jeff began his musical career as a drummer, playing in several 80’s progressive rock bands in the southern Ohio area, before switching to guitar as his primary instrument. After relocating to Charlotte, he began to perform again in 2017 as a solo artist, and part of duo and trio acts as Jeff Moder Music, as well as two local bands: “Under the Influence” from 2019 to 2022. He is currently a member of the band “Without the Numbers”. Jeff recently released his first record entitled “Lost and Found”, in December. 2023. This record takes listeners through a musical journey of Jeff’s heartbeats and heartbreaks. It’s a record about love, life, and his personal road to redemption. Wendy Watson grew up in Lancaster, South Carolina. She spent her childhood sitting under a piano while her mom practiced with church soloists and singing along when her dad played guitar, falling in love with his vast collection of folk music records, which she still has. When he passed, she picked up his guitar and found playing it eased the pain of missing him. She now lives in Fort Mill and met a group called Southern Songwriters Association. Drawing on years of folk music in her soul, she found a love for songwriting. Now she enjoys sharing her own songs in the hopes that they’ll touch someone else’s heart.

Rock Hill singer-songwriter PJ Brunson hosts the monthly showcase and performs full-time around the Carolinas and beyond. She has released two full-length CDs: “Come Hell or High Water” and “Home to Me”. Her latest EP, “The Other Side (Part 1)” was released in 2023.
