Join us for the September Illumination Wines Songwriter Showcase when my guests will be Judah Jones & Leigh Snelling. It's going to be another special evening of original music in the intimate setting that is Illumination Wines. Come on in enjoy a little musical Southern comfort.
About the Songwriters:
Judah Jones is a versatile artist based in east Charlotte. In addition to being a singer/songwriter, she is a preacher, actor, choral composer and conductor, and comedian. Her repertory of songs represent her broad interests, from the spiritual to the hilarity of everyday life. Despite being born blind, Judah has challenged limits and continues to accomplish new goals. She is currently active with Southern Songwriters Association, Queen City Singers, Planet Improv, and Charlotte Murder Mystery Company. She is officially retired as a UM Minister, and newly hired as Charlotte City Director of The Christmas Carolers. You can follow Judah on Facebook at Judah Blind Prophet.
Leigh Snelling is a Carolinas-based singer-songwriter who crafts compelling stories through an authentic blend of acoustic folk and Americana. She delivers intimate, raw live performances that balance warmth with striking, unfiltered honesty. Leigh has established a dedicated presence in the region's roots music scene by turning everyday human vulnerabilities into captivating, melodic narratives.
PJ Brunson is a Rock Hill singer-songwriter with folk roots and an easy listening vibe. Her songs often center around the themes of life, love, and family. She performs full-time around the Carolinas and beyond. She also performs as half of the piano-violin duo “Ananda” with violinist Laurie Neal.
